Ginger's Ale House is a popular Chicago Northside bar with English and Irish roots. Located in the popular Wrigleyille area on the Northside of Chicago, within easy walking distance of Wrigley Field where the Chicago Cubs play baseball, this Chicago Northside pub features an extensive draft beer selection featuring Stella Artois, Boddingtons Ale, Bass, Harp, our increasingly popular Ram Rod London Bitter (traditionally served at just below room temperature!), and the best pint of Guinness that your likely to find outside the Emerald Isle.
The menu, reflecting the English and Irish tastes, features many dishes common to both islands, as well as American fare. We have daily specials and a tasty brunch on the weekends, plus a complimentary buffet every Friday between 3pm and 6pm. The food service starts at 11:00am on weekdays, 10:00am on weekends.
With over thirty televisions and two giant screens in the main bar and party room, it makes us the best English/Irish bar in Chicago to watch televised soccer with English, Scottish, European and American MLS football (or soccer as they call it in the USA), plus rugby, college football and basketball, and of course, the NFL. Check our TV schedule for local kickoff times and any upcoming events such as our regular Pub Quizon Sunday nights.
We have four dart boards (the real ones) and one pool table, plus we sponsor numerous teams in a variety of local sports leagues. If you're interested in joining a team, or want to get your own team together, please call the bar or check availability here.
For your convenience, Ginger's Ale House is open from 11:00 am to 2:00 am daily (3:00 am Saturdays).
